For dogs 6 months and older on the first day of class.
Class is Live Online conducted using Zoom and will require a high-speed internet connection and a computer or mobile device.
This class is $160 for four sessions in total. Each session is approximately 50 minutes.
Prerequisite: None! Open to all dogs 6 months and older.
All dogs learn quickly with consistent training and thrive on positive reinforcement. Patience, practice, and heaps of love go a long way in turning an untrained pet into a loyal and responsive dog.
When you create an activity that the dog gets rewards and positive feedback, the dog will start looking for direction, thus developing a strong bond.
Through positive reinforcement and fun games, students strengthen their relationship with their dog and gain a greater ability to concentrate and obey around distractions. Learn and practice simple commands, such as sit, down--staying in both positions, coming when called, walking on a loose leash, "Leave it", and more! Furthermore, we'll cover basic learning theory and teach you how to recognize your dog's thoughts and feelings to improve your communication.
Improvement comes with repetitive training; you will build trust and respect with your four-legged friend and become a good working team.
Four classes will give you an excellent start to a well-behaved dog that looks to you for direction.
Bring training treats to class for use as rewards for a job well done. It's also a good idea to have some high-reward treats to reward your dog through the session. Small, bite-sized treats are ideal.
Age: All dogs 6 months and older.
