Are you tired of your dog pulling or tugging you on walks or bolting out an opened door without coming back when called? It's time to introduce obedience commands and follow-through that will keep him and you safe. Any age dog can learn with proper guidance.
Entry-Level Class.
$160 for four sessions of approximately 50-minutes each.
2-6 Students
Through positive reinforcement and fun games, students strengthen their relationship with their dog and gain a greater ability to concentrate and obey around distractions. Learn and practice simple commands, such as sit and down, staying in both positions, coming when called, walking on a loose leash, "Leave it", and more! Furthermore, we'll cover basic learning theory and teach you how to recognize your dog's thoughts and feelings to improve your communication.
Four classes will give you an excellent start to a well-behaved dog that looks to you for direction.
Graduate of First Steps to Obedience class.

2-6 Students
Novice Obedience classes incorporate distractions, off-leash work, and more advanced handling. Proper use of positive reinforcement, praise, and treat rewards will assist in achieving the desired behavior. Innovative games are woven into the curriculum to maximize engagement.
Learn how to incorporate fun exercises into your daily routine to keep your dog walking nicely at your side, sit- or down-stay without moving, and come when called.
Four classes will give you a great start and on your way to an obedient companion. This class may be repeated as it takes time to perfect.
Graduate of Obedience Novice with interest in competing

2-6 Students
You’ll work on many steps to build the result that is required for all the exercises. It takes time and practice to communicate with the dog how you want them to stay in heel position on- and off-leash. The figure-eight is a new exercise, both dog and handler will learn. Stand for examination will be taught in steps for both handler and dog. An off-leash recall is the first time the dog is off-leash with the handler across the ring, first taught close to the dog with positive rewards. Each element takes practice with many steps to get to the polished result.
Four classes establish the foundation of a rewarding partnership. Continuation classes are encouraged as it takes time, practice, and loads of love and patience to be show ring ready.
Trained to a competitive-level of Obedience Competition Novice or CD title .

2-6 Students
The biggest exercises are the retrieve and teaching your dog to jump correctly. When you teach your dog to retrieve, it takes daily work and much patience; this is a slow process. Dogs usually like to jump, so we instruct the handler on working on this obstacle the correct way.
Obedience Open is a huge step from Competition Novice as there are many more skills to teach the dog and handlers. Perfecting these skills will take time.
Four training sessions will start you on your way to competition success. More sessions are necessary to train and perfect Open Obedience skills.
Trained to a competitive-level of Obedience Open or CDX title .

2-6 Students
You'll work on a few exercises each class as this will take time to get the dog to understand what you want them to do. The dog has not worked at a distance before in obedience. It takes practice with many steps to get to the final results.
Once trained on the course curriculum, this caliber of dog and handler will be eligible to work toward a Utility degree from AKC.
Obedience Utility is another significant step from Competition Open. There are even more challenging skills to teach the dog and handler. Perfecting these skills will take time.
Four training sessions will start you on your way to continuing your competition success. More sessions are necessary to train and perfect Obedience Utility skills.
Do you enjoy teaching your dog commands and tricks? Then the sport of AKC Rally might be for you. It's a program designed for all dogs and handlers, but it is perfect for those who desire an activity with their best friend--pure fun and games.
No matter if you plan to compete in Rally Obedience, it's a great way to practice compliance. For graduates of Obedience Novice.

During class, handlers and dogs can expect to work on a few signs each week with an opportunity to practice in class, receiving immediate feedback from the trainer. Furthermore, the handler and dog will practice verbal communication, establishing eye contact, and teamwork while working on a loose leash.
To receive a title, RN (Rally Novice), then a RA (Rally Advanced), you must enter three trials and receive a qualifying score of 70 or better in each to qualify.
It takes time to train and get both the dog and handler ready to show their dogs in the ring.
Four training sessions will start you on your way to competition success. More sessions are necessary to train and perfect the Rally Novice Advanced exercises.
Completion of Rally Novice thru Advanced curriculum or RA title.

Dogs will work off-leash for this class. Handlers and dogs can expect to work on a few signs each week with an opportunity to practice in class, receiving immediate feedback from the trainer.
Training coursework is in four-week blocks, but more sessions will be necessary for a team to master the signs and perfect the overall performance.
Completion of Rally Excellent curriculum or AKC RE title.
$130 for four sessions of approximately 50-minutes each.

Dogs will work off-leash for this class. Handlers and dogs can expect to work on a few signs each week.
Training coursework is in four-week blocks, but more sessions will be necessary for a team to master the signs and perfect the overall performance.
